While exercise and nutrition are very important components of a healthy lifestyle, an equally important aspect of overall wellness is a person’s emotional grounding.  The mind has a truly powerful impact on the rest of our body in terms of our motivations, enthusiasm, likes and dislikes, and ultimately, our decision-making about how we want to live. At the Center for Child & Family Wellness, kids learn how to have a healthy body and mind through counseling and instruction led by our licensed child psychologist, Dr. Indira Abraham-Pratt.  Dr. Pratt specializes in the psychological aspects of weight management in children and in helping kids improve their self esteem and overall mental health.
